The image creation for .folio file distribution doesn't stop with the content of your publication. There are a couple of other images/thumbnails that must be conceived in order to present a professional digital magazine.

One of these images is the front cover of your publication, which will be displayed in the Adobe Viewer dashboard, whilst the other(s) are the page thumbnails for your publication.

The sizes and application for each of these image types are as follows:

• Dashboard cover - 180x135 (in pro of 1024x768). This image is applied via the publication properties panel.
• Page thumbnail - 70x70. This image is applied via the page properties panel.

In both instances I found the best application was to create a 1:1 pixel perfect image, rather than scaling down larger images.
