The owner has now been arrested on serious charges, but that isn't the only scandal which has hit the press about wikileaks recently. Earlier in themonth its DNS provider terminated its contract, then Amazon and now PayPal have permanently restricted WikiLeaks’s PayPal account, so that it cannot receivedonations.
Originally, when Wikileaks was first released upon the world the stories made us all salivate, Prince Andrew said what?? The US wanted to do that huh!? And then came its downfall, but the public felt it still needed to know about all the secrets Wikileaks held and the term was trending on Twitter and one of the highest Google searches - but that was in the past and now it seems that no one is really that bothered.
Supposing Wikileaks fought and won its battles to stay operational, would anyone really care and would anyone read the site?
